Broody batch!

Our take

Oh, the drama of chicken-keeping! Today, our feisty raptor bird returned, and let’s just say she’s madder than a hornet after being trapped in the coop. The plan? I’ll release her at sundown to follow her to her hidden nest in the woods. Once I find it, I’ll catch her again and keep all my girls locked

Broody batch!

Raptor bird came back today not as pissed off but now super pissed I trapped her in the coop. Correction, she is madder than a hornet! I plan on relasing her at sundown to lead me to her nest in the woods. Plan is to grab her again and lock all girls up for 3 days, then destroy the nest and put papers down in case she wants to go back. Anyone have opinions on how long to wait before re-releasing to free range? Is 3 days enough?
