Easter came early and Eggy Azalea is finally a mom again!! 🐥 (Update)

Our take

Easter came early, and guess what? Eggy Azalea is officially a mom again! 🐥 It’s a miracle, folks! Last night, Eggy’s five wooden eggs hatched, bringing her the joy of eight adorable chicks! (Don’t worry, I’m doing chicken calculus, not chicken math, LOL.) Though I captured some cute moments, I could only share one video, and it perfectly showcases Eggy’s patience—especially when the little ones are nibbling on her comb and wattles! She’s been a fantastic mama, keeping them fed and warm all day. You might notice the chicks vary in size: five are four days old, two are two weeks, and one is three weeks. Eggy has welcomed them all with open wings, and it’s pure joy to see this feathered family thrive! 🫶🏼

It’s a miracle!!! Eggy’s 5 wooden eggs finally hatched last night and she’s now the proud mama of 8 healthy chicks! (I don’t do chicken math, I do chicken calculus LOL)

I tried to record some cute moments but this only allows me to post one video, so I picked this one because it shows what a patient mama Eggy is — even when the little ones are chomping on her comb and wattles lol. She has been feeding and keeping them warm all day. I find it super cute when the chicks eat food off her beak! 🥰

And no, your eyes didn’t deceive you — the chicks are not all the same sizes. Five of them are 4-days old, two are 2-weeks old, and one is 3-weeks old. Eggy accepted all of them, and they all get along (I was monitoring them all day, in-person and mostly through my chicken spy cam). Eggy is extremely happy to be surrounded by her little nuggets of joy and we really appreciate all of your lovely/funny comments. 🫶🏼
