| | I just got my first chickens and I bought him a Blain's Farm& fleet. They were supposed to be 95% accurate sexed since they're sex-linked combo of golden comets and cinnamon Queens. Two are definitely cinnamon Queens two I think are golden comets, but one of the quote" golden comets has a pretty advanced comb and I'm not 100% sure if that's normal or not. I know Plymouth barred rocks are sex linked and I deliberately picked out what I thought was roosters. This guy is roughly 13 weeks old, The brother was 2-4 weeks older and developed both saddle feathers and wattles at 13 weeks but the one pictured has not. - Two cockerels and a pullet? Whiting true bluesI have three whiting true blues that I hatched, they’re five weeks old. I was so sure that two were Roos and one was a pullet. Two of the had fast comb development while one still has a very small comb still. Now I noticed one of my “Roos” has a smaller comb than the other one and my “pullets” comb is more red! - Pullet or cockerelI'm a first time chicken owner with a flock of 20. The two pictured are a Rhode Island red (brown with spots) and the midnight majesty maran (pigeon looking one). They are the only two I think might be males based on picture 2's wattle coming in and picture one because if the redness and size of its comb compared to it's 4 sisters. In total I have 5 Rhode Islands, 5 marans and 10 leg horns. Other than those differences they are identical. The red is also the first to approach me overtime I enter, then all the others come over after she/he has done their scout. All checks are 55 days old (almost 8 weeks).
