Hen or Roo
Our take
Welcome to the whimsical world of chicken parenting! It sounds like you’ve had quite the rollercoaster with your little feathered friend. Losing three chicks is no small feat, and it’s completely understandable to feel a mix of joy and sorrow. But fear not! Your courage to introduce this survivor to your existing flock shows just how much love and dedication you have as a chicken caretaker. It’s heartwarming to hear that he has adjusted so well and is stealing your heart with his cuteness! Every chicken has its own unique personality, and it sounds like this little guy is already making a big impact. Here’s to many more cluck-tastic adventures ahead in your chicken-keeping journey!

| I’m new to chickens— we got these little ones about 3 weeks ago and this one is the only one to survive his flock. The other 3 were so sick and eventually passed. We added it to our other flock of chicks after quarantining for a bit and it has adjusted so well! He is so cute, I can’t stand it [link] [comments] |

- Roo or Hen?Hi! We’re first time chicken owners and had gotten three chicks from a straight run batch. We think two may be roosters and the other a hen. They’re hitting their 6 week mark and we’re worried about how the hen will if she’s by herself in the coop. We can’t keep roosters where I’m at but they’ll be relocated to a friend’s farm that is in need of roosters. Are the roosters? 😭 submitted by /u/fayesky [link] [comments]
