How does my coop look?
Our take
Have you ever transformed an old shed into a cozy chicken coop? Well, our friend u/woody4life237 just did! They've taken on the cluck-tastic challenge of converting a forgotten structure into a vibrant home for their soon-to-arrive feathered friends—two adorable Silkies, a majestic Brahma, and a charming Faverolles. With nesting boxes perched a lofty 20 inches off the ground and a lower roosting bar set at 24 inches, this coop is designed for both comfort and fun. Imagine the playful antics and delightful personalities these chickens will bring to their new abode! Join us in celebrating this egg-citing transformation and share your thoughts on how it all looks. Let's give a warm welcome to this new chicken community!

- Backyard build almost doneRemodeled my garage and was going to use old cabinets to build a coop. Wife wanted something nicer (I swear it would’ve been good) ended up with this. No plans, just made a sketch and went for it. My dad kept chickens/turkeys so I wasn’t totally green. Happy with how it turned out. I’m a white collar guy so I’m pretty proud of this build. Not really finished, going to lay pavers and stones around it, but it’s done for now. 6 week old chicks finally out of the garage and loving it. Doors warping a little but I’ll take care of it submitted by /u/ravosa [link] [comments]
