I think my Wyandotte is a very smart roosterš
Our take

| I have had a turbulent relationship with my Wyandotte rooster, Steven. Although he has never attacked me, I can tell that he wants to. Heās constantly watching me, waiting to strike, and does his little rooster dancey dance whenever I approach the coop. A few days ago, I was filling up some buckets with water to go nourish my little baby trees. All of a sudden, I heard some startling squawks coming from a frantic Steven. I assumed that perhaps an animal had entered their run. With haste, I ran over to see what the commotion was, and to my astonishment, I quickly realized that their waterer was knocked down, and Steven was signaling for help! How freaking smart is that for a chicken?! He saw me with water and made noise to get my attention for help! I was stunned. [link] [comments] |

- Our chickens came knockingā¦Let me start off: chickens have a coop with small run and a big run. They are learning to go ā insideā The coop and not just the small coop run. We first wanted to have them free roam the entree back yard but ours kids were too much for them, hence the run Today its the 4th night and we didnt see the time so they were still in the night run instead of the actual night coop (theres a shelterd Place in there they looooove) Suddenly i hear chicken peckjng the Windows and see 4 out of 5 chickens in the backyard window. In laughing my ass off. One was a good girl in the night coop chilling and the other 5 were like.. snacks? They destroyed every plant in the garden ( expected) Luckily our garden is 100% safe of theres no kids lol. Started a small thunder storm shortly after so thats probably why.
