Lost my OG yesterday
Our take
Yesterday, I experienced a heartfelt loss as my beloved rooster Ivan passed away peacefully in his sleep. At eight years old, he was not just my first chicken but also the crowning jewel of my poultry journey. Ivan embodied everything wonderful about being a feathered friend—his quirky personality and loyal companionship brought joy and laughter to our days. He was the perfect rooster, always ready to strut his stuff and keep the flock in line, while also offering comfort whenever I needed it. Saying goodbye to my big, beautiful fella is incredibly tough, but I cherish every moment we shared. His spirit will always cluck its way into my heart. Rest in peace, Ivan—you were truly one of a kind.
