- What breed is this?Got this chick from a local hatchery, sold as a bluebell egger. She seemed fairly normal as a day old chick (we thought she was an ameracauna), but as she's gotten older shes looked stranger and stranger. The first photo is her at a day old, the next two are a week or so, then the last three are today at about 3 weeks. - Mystery Chick IDThis chick came out of a Tractor Supply bin labeled Barred Rock Pullet, very obviously not, but any guesses what it could be? All black feathers and feathered slate colored legs has me thinking some type mix of Marans. At 8 weeks is bigger than the Silver Laced Wyandottes I purchased at the same time. The comb seems odd to me, doesn’t look like any other chicken I have. - Male or Female? Easter Egger or Cream Legbar? Maybe a Mix?These girls (hopefully) are about 5 weeks old. They were sold to me as easter eggers but after looking at other posts they may be cream legbars? Or a mix of those two? I suspect one of them might be a roo.
