Roo or Hen or too early to tell?
 | We bought this "pullet" at a Co-op and it is looking huge with large feet and pinkish red wattle @ 5 weeks old. I know only time will tell what its sex is, but I'm just curious what others think? [link] [comments] |

- Hen or Roo?These gals are probably around 10-12 weeks old. They were sexed at our local Wilco. 4 Easter Eggers out of the 6. I’m worried this one might be a roo. Body type is lankier, tail feathers are longer and getting a shade of green to them. No behavior though that would lead me to believe it’s a roo, FWIW. - 7 week old Road Island Red chick. Roo or hen?This is our 7 week old chick. Born on 3/17/2026 (March 17th). We are worried it might be a roo. It's a Road Island Red and the first of it's breed for us so we don't have any previous experience to go off of except how our other breeds have looked at this age. - Roo or Hen?Hi! We’re first time chicken owners and had gotten three chicks from a straight run batch. We think two may be roosters and the other a hen. They’re hitting their 6 week mark and we’re worried about how the hen will if she’s by herself in the coop.
