Whats wrong?
Our take
Oh no, it sounds like you’re facing a bit of a chicken conundrum! As an inexperienced chicken owner, it’s totally natural to feel concerned when one of your feathered friends isn’t keeping up with the flock. At just two months old, your little one should have plenty of energy, so losing balance and isolating herself from the others is definitely worth investigating. Since she’s been vaccinated for Marek’s disease and is on medicated feed, you’re already taking some great steps to ensure her health. However, changes in behavior can signal a variety of issues. Let’s explore what might be going on so you can give her the best care possible and keep that cluck-tastic spirit alive in your coop!
I'm an inexperienced chicken owner and learning as I go. I just noticed this one losing her balance and walking slower than the others. She has also been laying down off by herself when I come in where the others will run around. She's 2 months old and has been vaccinated for Mareks. She's also on medicated feed.

- Help! Something is wrong with one of my little ladies:(Hello, I’ll start by saying I’m a noob and have no idea what to do. Thanks in advance for any help. So a couple days ago we noticed one of my favorite little chickens was standing kinda funny. Over the past day or so her walk is definitely different and she seems like she’s having trouble getting around. She’s almost straight up when she walks and just doesn’t seem very coordinated or able to do her normal chicken stuff. Anybody know what this is? I want her to be ok so any advice helps. - What is wrong with my chicken?Any ideas? Hard to get a video. She’s standing so weird. She was limping a couple days ago but I didn’t think much about it. No bubble foot or mites. She’s happy and lets me hold her and manipulate her legs/wings with no issues… she’s eating and drinking and has consistently been laying-even today.
