I had to put my hen down today. Worse feeling.

I had to make a tough decision to out my girl Dolly down today. She was attacked by something Monday night. It snapped her leg in half and she lost a lot of blood. I am almost certain she was protecting my other girls. They were unharmed. I feel so incredibly guilty that I couldn’t protect her and save her. We took her to the vet and they said her quality of life would be same even if she made it through this. This is just so sad.
