Namarie/Valinor: Still owe customers refunds and now spamming promo texts

If you’re a former Namarie customer who never got your refund, heads up- they are back open under a new brand called Valinor and are actively sending promotional SMS blasts advertising 30% off sales.

I’ve been waiting since July 2025 for a refund that was promised in writing. They sent a formal email confirming the refund was processed, it never hit my account, and now instead of making it right they’re texting me “Surprise! 30% off sitewide starts now.”

They blamed a lawsuit against Shopify for frozen funds, said they were gone for good, and then quietly relaunched under a new name with the same fabric (91% hemp / 9% bio-based elastane).

If this happened to you: ∙ File a complaint at reportfraud.ftc.gov ∙ Contact your state Attorney General’s consumer protection office ∙ Call your credit card company and dispute the charge especially now that they’re back in business under a new name

∙ Report the merchant to Shopify

Would love to know how many others are in the same boat!!!!
