Question on treats

Hello everyone I’m coming to you because I haven’t found anything online that doesn’t contradict each other. I was planning on raising lizards so I bought some Dairy Cow isopods and have been breeding them, but since I never got a lizard is it fine to feed them to my chickens as treats. Apparently they’re high in calcium so i don’t believe that it’d hurt them but I’ve seen online to only let them eat wild isopods and not ones that were raised in captivity. So what do you all think is it fine to feed them to my girls as treats?
