When a hen skips breakfast, her egg might tell you why

One of our hens laid this egg today, and honestly, it's a bit of a cluck-clue. She skipped breakfast this morning, which is totally not her style, and now we're staring at this unusually shaped shell. I'm pretty sure she's dealing with sour crop or some digestive drama, could the two be related? I've tried the yogurt trick and holding back food, but nothing's fixing it. For my fellow U.K. chicken keepers, what's your go-to remedy? This feels like a fowl puzzle, and I'd love some feathered-friend wisdom. If you've faced a similar mystery, our piece on *My rooster's head went upside down* might offer some extra digestive detective work.
