Beaky

Hilda and Beaky fight over shotgun in Joyce the campervan's favorite roost

There's something deeply poetic about two hens duking it out over the prime real estate in Joyce the campervan's favorite roost. Hilda and Beaky clearly have strong opinions about who gets the good spot, and honestly? I respect the commitment. It's like a feathery game of fowl play, except the stakes are naptime comfort and the prize is supreme roosting glory. You'd think after a long day of chicken adventures, they'd just share. But no, this is a battle of wills, and Joyce is merely the arena. It's the kind of sibling rivalry that reminds us why we love these ridiculous, dramatic creatures. And if you're into that feathery family resemblance, our piece on that cluck-tastic father-son lookalike is worth a peek.
