This adopted classroom chick has us clucking for a breed ID

One minute this little classroom adoptee is the sweetest feathered friend in the coop, and the next we're all scratching our heads wondering what breed actually showed up for roll call. The mystery is half the fun, honestly. There's something egg-citing about playing detective with a chicken that has zero paperwork and a whole lot of personality. You don't need a fancy pedigree to be cluck-tastic, but it sure helps when you're trying to figure out what to expect from their feathers, their size, and their general chaos. For anyone else who's ever adopted a barnyard enigma, this is your people. And if you're dealing with a different kind of fowl play, our piece on feathered friends losing their floof might save your sanity.
