Belly rubs and pin feathers turn this hen into a full-on purr machine
There's nothing quite like the sound of a happy hen, unless that sound is a full-on purr. One lucky chicken owner discovered that belly rubs and gentle pin feather care turn their feathered friend into a total snuggle bug, complete with wings draped over a lap like a feathered blanket. It's the kind of moment that makes all the feed bills and coop cleaning completely worth it. We get it. For every chaotic chicken chase and game of fowl hide-and-seek, there's this: pure, cluck-tastic contentment. It's a beautiful reminder that our supposedly intimidating yard birds are often just oversized, affectionate lap pets in disguise.
