She's having a rough molt day: time to call her beautiful

Oh honey, you better tell her she's beautiful right now, no arguments, no chickening out. A rough molt day is no joke; our feathered friends go from fabulous to frazzled faster than you can say "cluck-tastic." That patchy, pin-feather look? It's the chicken equivalent of a bad hair day, times ten. We've seen this struggle before, like when Marek's disease took two hens and left a Cream Legbar unable to cluck another day. So grab your most sincere voice and shower her with compliments. She might not understand the words, but she'll feel the love, and honestly, it's the least we can do for these gloriously ridiculous creatures.
