My rooster's been gasping for 4 years: I thought he was dying too

Four years of gasping and this rooster is still strutting his stuff. I've kept chickens for years and never seen anything like it, he started as a baby chick, and everyone assumed he wouldn't last. Four years later, he's proving every prediction wrong. Even my parents got fooled when they watched him; my dad called in a panic convinced the bird was dying. 😆 As a vet tech who works with chickens, I've always heard they can't breathe on their backs, which just adds to the mystery. This feathered survivor deserves a medal, or at least a very gentle hug.
