chicken face

Our neighbor's mystery rooster has a face that's seen some fowl play

Oh, this mystery rooster sounds like he's seen some serious fowl play, and I'm not just saying that because of his face. A neighbor's rooster who wanders into your yard, looking like he's survived every molt known to chicken-kind, yet weighing less than he appears? That's a feathered friend with stories to tell. But here's the thing, you've got your own flock to worry about. Is it just old age making him look rough, or could there be something more sinister lurking under those ruffled feathers? I totally get the concern. We've all been there, wondering if that wandering rooster is carrying more than just a mysterious past.
