Krissy’s Chickens
Quirky quail moms? This one's clearly winging it.
Well, color me surprised... and also, frankly, a little relieved. It's not very common for coturnix quail to attempt to sit on eggs, so when one of our girls decides to go full broody, you pay attention. It's like watching a tiny, feathered plot twist unfold right in the coop. I mean, sure, they're not chickens, they're practically allergic to commitment, but when they do decide to settle in, it's oddly endearing. It's a delicate dance of hope and chaos, and honestly, I'm here for it. If you're new to this quirk, don't fret; it's all part of the fowl play.
