Feather keepsakes from feathered friends: cluck-tastic or a little too fowl

I keep feathers from my departed flock in a special jar, with my favorite chicken's feathers getting their own spot. It felt a little strange at first, sneaking into the coop to collect souvenirs from chickens who've moved on to the big henaven in the sky. But for my 13 little angels, I'd do anything. Is that cluck-tastic or a little too fowl? I'm leaning toward the former. There's something oddly comforting about holding a feather from a friend who's no longer scratching around your feet. It's like keeping a piece of their sass and spirit. If you're already doing this, you get it.
