When the Pecking Order Gets Slow: My Rooster's Head Just Won't Keep Up

Oh, this is the kind of cluck-tastic mystery I both love and dread. Your rooster's sluggish head movements and sudden need for hand-feeding are genuinely concerning, and I'm right there with you in the confusion. The fact that the other roosters are running *away* from him, not bullying him, rules out pecking-order drama, which is actually a relief, because that means your boy is still respected, just not well. As for the droppings on your bed... well, that's a new level of fowl play. Diarrhea could be a clue, but without a vet's eye, it's hard to say. You've done great with electrolytes and sugar water, but I'd recommend a poultry vet visit ASAP.
