White spots on rooster ears: should you be clucking worried

Okay, so you've spotted white patches on your Dixie Rainbow rooster's ears, and now you're wondering if it's time to panic. I get it, every little quirk on our feathered friends can send us spiraling into fowl worry. But here's the cluck-tastic truth: those white spots are often just normal pigmentation, not a sign of something sinister. Rooster earlobes can change color with age, diet, or even genetics, so your handsome guy might just be showing off his unique flair. Before you start planning a chicken funeral, take a deep breath and observe. If he's eating, strutting, and crowing like his usual self, you're probably in the clear.
