Dodging a Drop Trap? This Rooster's Playing Fowl Hide-and-Seek

There's something almost insulting about a rooster who knows exactly what a drop trap is. This dumped boy has set up camp in a genuinely dangerous spot, yet he's got the survival instincts to ghost you the second you pull out the equipment. He'll strut into the parking lot for handouts, but the moment you show intent, he's gone, off into a forest that gives him endless hiding spots. I respect the hustle, but I also feel your frustration. Waiting for him to roost sounds like a full-day commitment, and he clearly has no interest in making this easy. Honestly, this feels like a sequel to his survival manual skipping the whole "self-preservation" chapter, except he's somehow mastered the art of fowl hide-and-seek.
