Dusting off my courage to face the feathered fiends in my backyard

There's something uniquely humbling about having to dust off your courage just to step into your own backyard. I get it. You're staring down those feathered fiends, wondering who's really the boss of this property. The terror is real, even when the creatures are barely knee-high. But here's the thing, we've all been there. Whether you're dodging a particularly aggressive rooster or just trying to collect eggs without losing a finger, the struggle is valid. This is the kind of relatable chaos that connects us. For more evidence that chickens run the show, check out "These feathery divas are serving looks and I'm honestly chickening out."
