Feathered Fugitives Foiled Twice: Fall Run Needs Fresh Escape-Proofing
Well, the great chicken escape of fall has been foiled, twice, apparently. All hens and roosters are accounted for, but our feathered friends are clearly plotting their next move. With the trees bare and the kiddie pool retired for the season, the run is looking a little too exposed for my liking. I'm already brainstorming ways to outsmart these flighty fugitives, because let's face it, they're better at fowl play than I am. If you've got ideas for escape-proofing that don't involve me losing my sanity, I'm all ears. And if you're still struggling with chicken identity crises, check out "Tail feathers and tragedy: Is this lone survivor a hen or a roo?" for some cluck-tastic detective work.
