Our girls braved the great outdoors and only panicked a little

Our girls braved the great outdoors and only panicked a little, which honestly feels like a major victory in the world of fowl. I get it, stepping outside when you're not sure what's lurking in the grass is egg-citing and terrifying in equal measure. It's that same vulnerable energy we see in "This mystery chick thinks you're a perch: should you be worried or flattered," where a sudden leap of faith from a feathered friend leaves you questioning everything. Here, the panic was minimal, and that's cluck-tastic progress. These ladies are learning that the big, wide world isn't all scary shadows and rustling leaves. Sometimes, it's just a nice patch of sun. And honestly? I'm proud of them for chickening out only a little.
