French Copper Marans

Copper and blue feathers make this crossbreed an egg-citing little cutie

Oh, that blue and copper combo is absolutely *cluck-tastic*! This French Copper Marans x Blue Laced Red Wyandotte is the perfect feathered mashup, you get that rich, lacing on the hackles and that soft, dreamy blue body. It's like someone spilled a sunset on a chicken, and I'm totally here for it. I mean, look at that face, equal parts regal and ridiculous, which is honestly the sweet spot for any backyard bird. The copper is coming through just enough to make it feel like a living piece of art, and that blue? Swoon. It's the kind of cutie that makes you want to start a whole flock of these crossbreeds, even if you're still chickening out on the pecking order.
