Wheat Grass 101: A Cluck-tastic Guide for Your Mom's Feathered Friends

Germinating wheat grass for your mom's chickens is a cluck-tastic idea, and honestly, you're already halfway to being their favorite human. The method you're using, soaking the seeds, then letting them sprout in a shallow tray, sounds spot-on for getting them to grow into a nice, grassy patch. Chickens love pecking at fresh greens, so this is a treat they'll absolutely scratch for. As long as you keep the seeds moist but not drowning, and give them a little airflow, they should sprout fine. Planting them in the ground afterward works too, just make sure the soil's loose and they get some sun. You're not overthinking it, this is exactly how to do it.
