gold feathers

This black and gold beauty is giving the rest of my flock serious feather envy

Oh, this black and gold beauty is absolutely serving looks, and I am *here* for the feather envy. That rich, dark plumage with those golden accents? It's giving main character energy, and the rest of the flock better take notes. Honestly, I get it, sometimes a chicken just has that *je ne sais quoi* that makes you question your own life choices. If you loved this dazzling display, you'll want to check out our piece on "Blue-ribbon ears on this chicken are egg-citingly adorable," because apparently this breed is just out here winning the genetic lottery. I'm not jealous. Okay, maybe a little. But mostly I'm just grateful to witness such fowl-tastic fashion.
