When your gorgeous hen turns out to be a handsome rooster, the love stays the same

I'm 78 percent sure my gorgeous "hen" is actually a handsome boy, but since there's been no crowing yet, I'm clinging to that 22 percent of hope like a stubborn feather. Honestly, the love hasn't budged one bit. Whether she's a she or he's a he, this bird is beautiful and staying put. Classic case of mistaken identity, my feathered friend just keeps me on my toes.
