hen leg injury

My hen's leg is a mystery: help me crack this clueless cluck case

Oh, feathered friend, I feel your pain, literally, maybe, because watching a hen hobble is a special kind of heartbreak. Your four-year-old girl can put a little weight down after two weeks of isolation, but the source of her limp remains a total cluck-ing mystery. No bumble, no wound, just a leg that says "nope" without explanation. I've been there, staring at a chicken like she's a puzzle box with feathers. Here's the thing: older hens sometimes get arthritis or soft-tissue injuries that don't show on the surface. Anti-inflammatories (from a vet, please!) and a comfy, padded recovery space might help. Also, check her hip joint gently, sometimes the issue is higher up.
