Humidity headaches and shipping stress: our hatching dilemma

Oh, the joys of playing chicken with an incubator that won't tell you its secrets! PapayaSuspicious4822 has bravely embarked on the hatching journey, but now they're staring at a humidity-less box and wondering if their shipped eggs are already plotting fowl play. First off, those five days in transit are definitely a concern, eggs can be surprisingly resilient, but they're not fans of turbulence. For humidity control without a gauge, try adding a small water dish and monitoring the condensation on the window; too much fog means you're practically steaming your future chicks. As for manual turning, aim for three to five rotations daily, any more and you'll feel like you're running a chicken-themed game of Twister.
