Trash day turns my peaceful hens into tiny feathery T-Rexes

Garbage day turns my peaceful hens into tiny feathery T-Rexes. I feel that in my bones. One minute they're politely pecking at scratch grains, the next they're possessed by the spirit of a feral dinosaur because a plastic lid hit the driveway. It's both hilarious and terrifying, which basically sums up chicken ownership, right? You've got these fluffy little goofballs who'll scream bloody murder at a rogue pumpkin, yet somehow a garbage truck transforms them into prehistoric monsters. If you need a laugh and a little validation, check out the tale of "A new pullet braved the pumpkin and the whole flock finally clucked along." It proves even the most fowl-tempered ladies can surprise you.
