Hamburgs got the zoomies? Our new Marans are the chillest chickens

So our Hamburgs are basically tiny feathered toddlers on a sugar rush, and then we added two Marans. Night and day. These new girls are nine weeks old and they actually… chill. They *lie down*. Quietly. It's throwing us for a loop because we are not used to poultry that isn't vibrating with chaotic energy. The Marans are serene little zen masters compared to our original squad. It's a cluck-tastic lesson in chicken personality, and a reminder that not every hen is out to test your patience. If you need a break from high-octane fowl play, maybe skip the Hamburgs.
