Cluck-tastic mystery: Who laid that pretty blue egg in my flock

Oh, a pretty blue egg mystery, now that's the kind of fowl play I can get behind. You've got a 20-week-old pullet dropping pastel treasures, and you're pretty sure it's one of your grey girls, but the suspense is egg-citing, isn't it? I totally get it. Trying to ID which feathered friend is responsible feels like a game of cluedo with chickens. The good news? That light blue shell color is a strong clue. Certain breeds like Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers are famous for those pastel eggs, so your grey suspect might just be one of those. If you're still puzzled, check out our related story on another mystery pullet laying pale aqua eggs, it might ruffle some feathers in the best way.
