Oh, that poor little chick. A bent leg, a wobbly body, and a mama hen who made a terrible mistake. This is the kind of heartbreaking fowl play that makes you want to throw your hands up and scream at the sky, or at the very least, post a desperate plea to the internet. I feel for your friend, truly. It's a cluck-tastic nightmare. The chick can't stand, can't walk, and keeps puking up every bit of food it's given. That's a recipe for a very bad day in the coop. This isn't a simple case of a flipped tongue or a bit of feather plucking, like we've seen in our "Feathers for Breakfast" article. This is a full-on emergency.
