When Your Hen Has a Hack: Natural Ways to Soothe a Rainy Day Cough

Oh, a rainy day cough in the henhouse, because nothing says "cozy season" like a little fowl play with your respiratory system. I've been there, staring at a sniffling hen and wondering if she's just dramatic or actually plotting my demise. First, don't panic. A cough can mean anything from a simple dust tickle to something worth watching. For natural remedies, start with garlic-infused water (just a clove in their drinker) and a splash of apple cider vinegar, both are cluck-tastic immune boosters. Keep her dry and warm, and add some oregano to her feed. If she's still hacking after a couple days, you might be dealing with more than a chill.
