The Sultan Showdown: Taller Bird, Rooster or Just Big Chook Energy?

Two Sultans, one clearly bigger, and suddenly you're playing a real-life game of fowl play detective. I get it, when you've got a bird that's puffing out its chest like it owns the coop, you start to wonder if you've accidentally adopted a rooster instead of a lady. The size difference is a solid clue, but it's not the whole story. Look for the telltale signs: thicker legs, a more prominent comb, and those dramatic sickle feathers curving off the tail. If it's crowing at dawn, well, that's your answer. But if it's just strutting around with big chook energy, you might be fine. For more feathery mysteries, our piece on "Suspicious feathers in the flock" might ruffle some answers for you.
