Four Serama chicks, one lady, three gents: vent sexing got us clucked

Well, color me clucked! Six weeks in and those "four lovely ladies" are looking an awful lot like a trio of rowdy gents with one lone hen. Vent sexing, am I right? It's the ultimate fowl play, you trust the expert, and then the feathers start coming in and suddenly you've got a bachelor party on your hands. At this age, those boys are probably starting to show off those saddle feathers and pointy hackles, while your girl is staying round and demure. I'd say your gut is spot on: three handsome roos and one lucky lady. Just think of it as nature's way of keeping things egg-citing!
