When a bad eye gets worse, saline might be fowl play in disguise

Oh, a bad eye that's getting worse despite your best efforts, that's the kind of fowl play that really ruffles your feathers. This poor hen has been your favorite since earlier this year, and she was doing great until this month. Now her eye looks significantly worse from October 1st to today, and you've been dutifully flushing it with saline to clear out dirt. But here's the cluck-tastic twist: I'm worried the saline itself might be making things worse. It doesn't seem to slow her down, but you can tell it bothers her. When you care this much about a feathered friend, you want her happy and healthy.
