I’m currently working on a new breed

Our take

I’m on an egg-citing journey to create a new chicken breed, and I can’t wait to share my progress! In the first picture, you’ll meet my delightful little fella, a mix of a purebred black and white Polish and a Silkie. He boasts fantastic feather structure and a well-formed skull, which is a crucial sign of good genetics. It’ll take a few generations to refine this breed, but I’m thrilled with this promising start! The second picture features a Silkie x Cream Legbar mix. While her color pattern isn’t perfect, her unique transparent tail and wing feathers are a delightful surprise. Fingers crossed this trait sticks around!

(1st pic) I had a pure bred black and white polish and a silkie and this little fella came out. Really good feather structure and a coop, but most important his skull is normal. It takes a couple of generations to get what I’m looking for but this is a great start.

(2’d pic) is a silkie x creamlegbar mix which doesn’t have the best colour pattern but her tail and wing feathers are transparent which I haven’t seen before. Lets hope it ain’t recessive and dissapears in later generations. Although the colour pattern is off, it still looks beautiful

The others are Brahmas which I want to use to create a larger size polish breed
