 | I’ve had these 4 chicks since Easter. They’ve all been acting normally, but this one (I think is a Cream Legbar) is drinking fine, but she’s not eating, and she’s standing upright and peeping nonstop. She’s drinking by herself though. She had pasty butt for about 2 days before I cleaned it. I thought she would act normal after that, but she’s been like this for another 2 days, even after I cleaned her butt. She also doesn’t react to my hand, she huddles up against me and peeps. At first I thought it was malnutrition, so I gave her some olive oil with a pipette about 20 hours ago since it’s got a fat and calories. She still acting weird. I’m not sure what to do. Definitely better than when she was with the 10 others Her heat plate is low and she has room to get out if she gets too warm. PLEASE HELP. - 3 of 7 chicks acting weird. Hard time walking, sometimes yell when trying to stand up.Assumed they were getting crushed in the sleeping cuddle puddle. Separated from the rest. Back girl in pic laying odd, same with girl on right. Black girl mainly tells when trying to stand if she’s been laying for a while. Nutridrench in the water, chick starter, egg for extra supplements. Is this illness or are they hurt? Black girl started last night. Other two today. - Please help!!My favorite hen peachy isn't feeling good. Her tail is bobbing and she's a bit lethargic. I examined her a bit and her crop is small and hard, she also started struggling to breath when I picked her up and tried to get away (this is the most cuddly chicken I've ever had she ADORES being held) I put her in the garage with water and the Internet told me not to give her solid food for 12-24 hours so I crushed up a boiled egg (without the shell) and gave that to her. I saw someone say online to feed a chicken with a bad crop some olive oil and massage the crop so I might try that tomorrow.
